HONORARY MEMBERS
Honorary memberships are awarded to member of the Society for his/her outstanding service to the Society. Any recognised service in the horticultural field can be considered as contributing factors to qualify (e.g. (Teaching; Extension work; Service to the industry; Scientific and semi-scientific publications; Research; Contributions to scientific symposia).
Full MEMBERS
Members who are actively involved with, or who are interested in, any activity involving horticulture and related disciplines.
Benefits of being a member
- Members in good standing can claim SACNASP CPD points just for being a member.
- Assistance in gathering CPD points
- Receive notifications, newsletters and publications of the society, and may attend annual general meetings.
- Access to a large and diverse horticultural network
RETIRED MEMBERS
Retired members who were members of the society but have since retired will be eligible for a reduced membership fee.
STUDENT MEMBERS
Student members who are registered full time at academic institutions are eligible for a reduced membership fee, provided their application is signed by their supervisor and proof of registration is provided.
